Monochromatic Asymmetrical Hand Painted Brush Stroke Stripe
I always enjoy painting on a textured neutral linen, the texture adds depth and contrast to the harsh black brush stripes.
After cutting, I arrange each panel and begin to paint. Each stripe is brushed individually. I have a slight plan when it comes to composition, but not enough to hinder or fuss about splatter and imperfections. These imperfections keep each piece unique and allow an organic flow to the process.
I like to keep the more disciplined and precision based thought process to the tailoring and construction of the garment.
The pocket is carefully hand stitched to the chest panel. The armhole is hand stitched to the body providing comfort and a beautiful subtle detail.
Each shirt is made to order by Tony at our studio in Maine. Lead time for cut, sew and ship is 8-10 weeks.
