Deadstock Camel Wool Blend Chore Coat

This chore coat is made from a dead-stock wool blend sourced in NYC. It is a light camel with a cool undertone. The hand feel is soft, spongey and drapey with a hairy nap. There is definitely some fur woven into this soft fabric - hairs of black (likely mohair or angora) are visible up close. 

Design features include Tony's signature rounded collar, double button cuffs and a locker loop. The four outer pockets are rounded 'Barchetta' style, which means that the top hems gently slope like the bow of a little boat. The pockets are sewn on floating - the inlaid topstitch gives them a three dimensional look. There is an inner right chest pocket for stashing valuables, with a visible stitch reminiscent of classic French coats. The sleeves are cut wide to accommodate layering, with an adjustable double button cuff (tighter for a more shirt-like fit, looser for a more jacket-like fit). The back features a locker loop for hanging by the door. Finished with matte genuine horn buttons, each hand-sewn with a crow foot stitch.
